Feed Rules
Last updated: August 19, 2026
1. What the public feed is
The public Shot Feed is an opt-in stream of shots that members chose to share. Nothing is ever published automatically — not liking a shot, not saving it, nothing. Posts are anonymous: viewers see the shot and its prompt, never who made it. You can unpost your own shot at any time, from the same place you posted it.
By posting a shot you confirm it follows these rules and you accept that its prompt is shown alongside it.
2. Only shots generated here
Only content generated on Shot.mov can be posted. Shots made from an uploaded image — the upload itself, videos animated from it, and their extensions — cannot be posted publicly. Outside images carry identity and rights we cannot verify, so they stay private to your gallery.
3. No identifiable real people
Content that clearly depicts an identifiable real person is not allowed on the public feed, even when it is fully AI-generated and even when the resemblance is unintentional. If a reasonable viewer would recognize a specific real person, it will be removed on review. Deliberate impersonation of a real person is treated as a serious violation.
4. 18+ content
Adult content may be posted, under three conditions that all apply:
- the poster has completed age verification;
- the shot is tagged 18+ when posting (shots made with an adult-audience style are tagged automatically);
- it is shown only to viewers who have themselves completed age verification — everyone else never sees it.
Adult content posted without the 18+ tag is removed, and repeated mislabeling can suspend your ability to post.
5. Never allowed
- Any sexual or exploitative depiction of minors, real or generated — zero tolerance; the account is terminated and, where required, reported to the relevant authorities.
- Content that is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
- Harassment, threats, or content targeting a private individual.
- Gratuitous real-world violence or gore.
6. Reports and moderation
Every shot in the feed can be reported by any signed-in member, with a reason. A shot reported by several different members is hidden automatically pending review. Moderators may remove any post that breaks these rules; a removed shot cannot be reposted. Repeated or serious violations can suspend posting privileges or the account under our Terms of Service.
